Simply tell him that you would like to discuss something important and need his advice. Arrange a meeting in a public place where it’s not too noisy. If the man asks what it is you would like to meet him for, tell him you are too busy at the moment and there are some other people around who should not participate in the conversation. He should be sure that you are not going to ask him to consider a long-term relationship with you and that the issue you would like to discuss is related to something totally different.
