Rearrange your wardrobe and purchase what you have always lacked. Experts suggest we all should have more tops than bottoms – the ratio should be three to one. The reason is simple: other people usually remember your blouses and shirts rather than pants and skirts. It is great if around 60% of your clothing belong to timeless, classic, monochromic pieces. Your wardrobe should be divided into 2 sections: stuff that you wear for work and casual clothes. Once you are done reworking you closet, get used to picking your next day’s outfit before bedtime.
2. How to Spend Less Time on E-Mail
It is too hard to resist checking your e-mail messages throughout the day. Do it less frequently. You know you can get rid of this habit. Even if checking your e-mail box takes you a minute or two, you will usually need another 20 minutes or more to get back to work and concentrate on what you were previously doing. Multitasking is harmful since it makes your brain release cortisol – the hormone that is responsible for memory loss and stress. To avoid the problem, inactivate alerts and process e-mail twice or three times a day.
