3. Purchase a transformer and charger adapter
Countries are different. So are the sockets and voltages that are used there. Keep that in mind and get ready for this. We are sure that you will want to use your mobile phone or tablet during your stay in a foreign country. If you do not have a transformer and an adapter, it will be impossible to charge your device or use it. You can always buy such things upon arrival. But we recommend you should take them with you before leaving your home. You will save money and time in this case. These things do not take up too much space in your suitcase, but without them you won’t be able to feel completely safe and comfortable overseas.
4. Keep your bank informed about your trip
Do not leave your native country without informing your bank about the trip and your travel arrangements. Credit card companies as well as banks can block your account if they suspect some sort of activity from abroad. They will be trying to do their best to protect your money. If you are far away and need money during your trip in Zimbabwe, want to pay for an expensive souvenir or excursion using your credit card, your bank may decide to freeze your account. Later on, when you least expect this, you can find out that you can no longer pay your bills at restaurants, shops and other places. This sort of inconvenience is very simple to avoid. Just call your bank, send them an email or drop by and talk to the managers in person.
