3. Ottensheimis a region in Austria. The location is known for Das Park Hotel. What makes the site so popular is its unusual feature. As a matter of fact, the hotel is made from what used to be sewer pipes. The construction is built on the banks of the Danube River. The view is quite utilitarian and extravagant. The walls of the tubes were painted by Thomas Latzel Ochoa, an Austrian artist. Thanks to his effort now the place looks more user-friendly and comfy.
4. Tham & Videgard is a Swedish company hiring oly the best designers who are ready to put their most drastic fantasies into reality. One of their creations is The Mirrorcube. The hotel is located in Harads, just 50 minutes from the Arctic Circle. This aluminum construction wraps the base of a single tree. Its mirror walls reflect the surroundings which makes the hotel virtually invisible for people and, due to the infrared layer, visible to birds. Another surprise is that The Mirrorcube is hung around the tree and is only 4x4x4 meters! Inside the hotel you’ll find a bathroom, double bed, terrace and lounge. Climb the 12-meter-long bridge to get inside and enjoy your stay.
5. Giraffe Manor was created in the 1930’s. It’s a historical building located in Nairobi, one of the East African countries. Not only does the construction tell you lots about the history of the area. It introduces the nature as well – each morning guests of the hotel are greeted by the herd of eight giraffe residing nearby. Prepare some snacks for your new friends! Giraffe Manor is the only spot on the planet where visitors are allowed to photograph and feed the giraffes.
