3. Bring formal back
Formality matters a lot. The more familiar we get with each other, the less formality is left. It has its pluses and minuses. But once you feel your relationship is not as intriguing as it used to be, bring some formality back. Remember the very first date and how you felt at that very moment. Do you want to feel the same way once again? It is absolutely possible – simply look in the mirror and see what you would like to change. Put up your favorite outfit and look different a bit – your partner will appreciate the change.
4. Talk about past and future
Relationships cannot survive without communication. Being a talker is as important as being an attentive listener. Pick a topic to discuss and spend some time together. Discuss what matters to you most and share your ideas with each other. You can talk about your past or plan for the future. Remember something positive and try to recall the moments when both of you felt happy. No doubt it is in your power to bring those first-date butterflies back. Couples that reminisce about the past or fantasize the future will always be happier than those who never do this.
5. Spontaneity will do the trick
Oh, and do not forget to be spontaneous – doing something neither of you expects can greatly spice up your relationship.
