3. Keeping to the Schedule
Habit is your second nature. If your schedule keeps changing all the time, you turn into an unorganized person. The same happens to children – they do need to develop the right habits and follow their own routine. Bedtime routine is an important period that requires people to calm down and set aside energizing games. Let your children learn to relax and calm down before they go to bed so that their night’s sleep could be more pleasant and peaceful. It is wonderful if you teach your kids to be ‘parents’ to their toys and teddy bears – their task will be to prepare their stuffed animals and cars for nighttime rest, too.
4. Keep electronic devices away
Nowadays the young spend too much time playing computer games. They use various devices to enjoy their favorite activity. There is an explanation as to why parents should not allow their children use light-emitting electronic gadgets, especially before bedtime. The light coming from all those devices makes an impact on the child’s internal clock and may cause insomnia. Make sure that your children stop playing games at least an hour before they go to bed. It is not all right if your kids use electronic gadgets to do their homework or read books late at night. Traditional old-fashioned paper books, pens and pencils is all they should be allows to use after 8 p.m.
