3. A non-traditional palette
Traditional color schemes are perfect. They have been used for centuries. However, no one says you cannot break this rule and try out something new and fresh. You can make your whole apartment or house look more vibrant and jolly by adding a couple of colors that are not traditionally used during Christmas time. Consider silver shades and golden touches. Some might find it easier to start with their Christmas tree first. Then, according to it, you can continue and change the rest of your interior. Cream and navy or purple and white may create an unusual atmosphere. Do not be afraid of experiments.

4. A simple exchange of gifts
Gift exchange is something that makes the whole holiday so cozy and warm. The ceremony involves all family members. You may sometimes give gifts to your colleagues and friends and all those you are close with. Of course you do not want to hurt others by ignoring them and hence you give some sort of presents to everyone. However, shopping for gifts might be stressful and time-consuming. Avoid it by making the gift exchange process less tedious. There is no need to buy hundreds of useless gifts to make strangers happy. Limit the number of people you wish to give gifts to. No more expensive gifts. Just fill up a basket with very small items and let the guests pick their own present randomly.
