5. Hot Peppers
Not all spices are safe enough for you to put them into the microwave. For instance, hot peppers can catch fire. Once they start burning, they release the chemical that will burn and sting your throat and eyes once you open the microwave.

Before heating up the foods you keep wrapped in aluminum foil, unwrap them first and only then put the products in the microwave. Aluminum is a metallic element and, as you know, anything metal can start a fire inside the device.
