3. Newfoundland
This breed is very protective of kids. The Newfoundland is patient, kind and gentle. Not in vain it is also called ‘nature’s babysitter’. What you might not like about this breed is that the Newfoundland sheds and drools too much. Despite this minus, it is not a good idea to keep the animal outside. This dog needs company and loves to stay inside. What makes this breed is special is that the Newfoundland is an excellent swimmer and can save your life in an emergency situation. The dog is huge. So is its kind and lovable heart.
4. Vizsla
This breed originates in Hungary. It looks like a sporting dog – slim, strong and very active. Its nature is very friendly and the Vizsla will easily get along with children. More than that, the vizsla is obedient and it is easy to train the dog. It is also exceptionally smart and confident. The pet will form close bonds with you and your children. Finally, vizslas can be kept in a comparatively small apartment since it does not have the so-called ‘doggy’ smell. The problem is that vizslas hate to be subjected to apartment life. The place where the dog will feel great is a mid-size backyard to play and run in. On average, the vizsla may live up to 15 years.
