3. Where does the language come from?
Sometimes several foreign languages may lead to the same roots. For example, it is known that languages like Romanian, Portuguese, Italian, French and Spanish evolved from the Latin language. The structure of the languages, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary may look alike. It is easy for an Italian learn Spanish and learning Romanian won’t take you ages if you have already mastered French.
4. The imitation technique
Learning a foreign language is a game. If you want to sound like a native speaker, first of all you need to start imitating the sounds and voices as accurately as possible. Little by little you’ll feel how to pronounce words correctly. It’s ok if you feel silly or embarrassed. You are not doing any negative impression, really. This kind of learning technique is great if you want the right pronunciation to become your “second nature”. Imitate native speakers while talking with them in person. Do it while watching TV and familiarize with the sounds of the language you are studying at the moment.
