There are five egg substitutes. Use them if you do not have eggs or if you are allergic to them. The substitutes mentioned below can be used instead of eggs while baking.
One egg can be replaced with a quarter cup of unsweetened applesauce. This tip is great for most baking recipes. Try and mix it with half teaspoon of baking powder. If the applesauce you have is sweetened, then put less sugar than indicated in the recipe. Applesauce is healthy and hence used instead of oil in various baked foods.
