The young couple asked Harriet to act as a surrogate for them since they were not able to conceive naturally. Before the doctors implanted a fertilized egg from her daughter-in-law and her spouse, Harriet underwent a special treatment that made the pregnancy possible.
4. Elizabeth “Lizzie” Adeney
Elizabeth Adeney was known to be a successful British business lady. Later on she also became famous as the country’s oldest woman to have given birth. Despite the numerous failures, Elizabeth managed to become pregnant after IVF treatment. Since in the United Kingdom such clinics treat women only under 50, the woman had to travel to Ukraine where she underwent the procedure.
5. Haya Shahar
Haya Shahar was married to Shmuel for over four decades. The couple lived in Israel in a childless marriage for many years. When the woman was over 60, the spouses decided to undergo a IVF treatment. Doctors did all possible to help Haya become a mom at 65. She gave birth to a baby boy. Since the mentioned procedure is illegal in Israel, the couple might have done it abroad.
