The only thing is to choose the right dog breed if you know you are allergic to fur.

1. Schnauzer

Schnauzers do not shed too much which is a great thing if you belong to people suffering from allergies. If you have kids at home, be sure that this breed will love spending time with them. Schnauzers are lovely and loving and ready to play for hours and stay next to their owners most of the time. These dogs have protective and quite energetic temper. Pick any of three sizes: miniature, Giant or standard.

2. Bedlington terrier

Bedlington terriers resemble lambs in both temper and looks. This breed is perfect if you consider your family to be laid-back. Bedlington terriers are shedless and are relatively mild-mannered.
