If you are just beginning to create some sort of business and do not know much about team building tactics and strategies, then you are very likely to make some common mistakes.
1. Contacting your employees after 6 p.m.
Calling your employees after 6 p.m. is not the worst thing you can do while building a team. But do not make this a habit. People have the right to have some free time. They need it to take care of themselves and their family as well as kids. Time after work does not belong to you so respect that and be patient or plan your day the right way and resolve all issues before your employees leave work.
2. Forcing your employees to do what they do not want to do
Be more tolerant to those who work for you and collaborate with you. Some of your team members might dislike the things you enjoy. Do not try to make them do what they do not feel like doing. If you are having a party and someone does not want to dance because they are too shy, let them enjoy their time the way they want. Do not judge your people for being different.
