3. How to Tell If It Is True Hunger
Shifting your meal hours around is a great way to find out when you are hungry and when you are simply trying to make yourself believe you need to snack on something. Shift the times and eat at different hours every day. When you are hungry your stomach growls, you can hardly focus on things and concentrate on your work or studies. You may sometimes suffer from headaches too. Do not set times and eat when you feel hungry. Do not stuff yourself with food, eat less and allow your stomach to send the right signal to the brain.
4. Ask Someone to Join Your Meal
Let your colleagues, friends or family members join you. Communicate with the person, share your ideas with each other and let your company distract you from food. Don’t eat alone and make sure you are surrounded by people when you are having lunch or dinner. When there is someone else nearby, you will try to control yourself. As a result, you’ll order a smaller portion and eat less during the meal.
