Be aware of the six early symptoms of lupus and treat the disease. Lupus is also referred to as SLE. It’s a chronic inflammatory disease occurring if the person’s immune system is weak.
1. Sores in the Mouth and Nose
Every third person suffering from lupus is very likely to develop ulcers in the mucosal tissues of the nose and mouth. This symptom causes great discomfort and plenty of pain.
2. Changes in the Scalp and Hair
Hair loss is very typical of people who have lupus. Hair might be lost entirely or you may also lose it in patches. It is a transient issue accompanied with other symptoms. As a rule, people who are diagnosed with lupus have scaly and dry scalp. Note that rheumatoid arthritis often leads to hair loss as well. Do not confuse it with lupus, however, it is not always easy to tell the reason of hair loss without professional help.
