3. Forgetting to Floss
If you regularly do all the tips we have described above yet still suffer from bad breath, then you might be forgetting to floss your teeth properly. Even gargling with mouthwash won’t help if you ignore flossing. You need to extract those food residues between your teeth first. As long as there’re food particles, you’ll have bad breath. Build a habit of flossing your teeth every day.
4. Consuming Too Much Protein
Whether you’re on a low-carb diet or simply like meat, fish, cheese and eggs, protein can cause bad breath. We know how good protein is – it contains no sugar, it has few calories and it keeps you full for a very long time. Protein is absolutely necessary for the body. Consuming too much protein is not the best decision, though. Add some carbs, too. If your menu contains no carbs, the level of ketone bodies rises and your breath become bad.
