Your freezer should never be empty. Keep some spinach in it. Also, have green beans and various berries there, too. Green bean taste great with lean protein, fish and other foods. You can always use spinach to prepare smoothies for breakfast. Use it on eggs as well. Berries are fantastic with oatmeal or yogurt. Frozen vegetables and berries can be stored for months; they are cheaper and can be bought all year round. Purchase them in large quantities, especially if you can find a special offer.
