The more processed meats you eat, the greater percentage (43%) of early death you have. Experts claim that the biggest culprits are sodium nitrates. These carcinogens are found in smoked meats.
4. Potato Chips
The short-term pleasure of eating potato chips is far outweighed by their negative effects. Potato chips are extremely high in calories, contain lots of salt, artificial flavor and tons of chemicals. This kind of combination is extremely unhealthy and should be avoided at all costs.
5. Diet Foods
Diet foods are another group of foods that we should not eat. Diet foods contain aspartame. This chemical is found in artificial sweeteners. Some diet products contain too much sodium, too. Their ingredients are often refined. Besides, manufacturers add colors to make up for flavor loss. Read the label and you’ll see that some of the diet foods you consume have more calories than their regular alternatives.
