5. Quit smoking
Smoking is a terrible habit that affects every sphere of your life and damages your whole body and organs. Cigarettes may be one of the reasons why you have back pain. Either you are still a smoker or a recent non-smoker, your risk of having back pain is higher than that of a person who has never smoked. The nicotine that cigarettes contain constricts blood vessels and blood cannot be properly delivered to the soft tissues – that’s what causes the pain. Another good thing that happens when you quit smoking is you save cash!
