5 Signs of Kidney Failure

Do not confuse acute kidney failure with chronic kidney failure. These two problems differ in several ways.

3. Chest tightness and pain

One of the most common reasons why a patient experiences tightness, pain in the chest, or shortness of breath is because the body accumulates too much fluid around the membrane surrounding the heart or around the lungs. Also, heart rhythms may dramatically change if the amount of potassium in the blood is too high. All these symptoms can lead to sudden heart failure.

4. Skin changes

When your body cannot get rid of all the waste that it produces, your skin will indicate this – it will start itching. It is followed by a rash or itching deeper in the tissues. As a rule, itching involves all body parts at the same time. It may last for quite a long period of time. The skin becomes yellowish or brownish.
