We’re not here to tell you how much you need a special detox plan. We’re not selling diet pills, either. Our mission is to teach you to eat the right foods to make your life last longer.
1. Antioxidants
No magic pills. Antioxidants have nothing to do with medication. Instead of paying for supplements, try and make smart adjustments to your menu. Include the foods that contain antioxidants and enjoy a healthy and long life. By consuming the right products you can improve your health. Not only this, but your menu will become more varied and much tastier. Antioxidants fight free radicals and do all possible to help you recover after stress and injuries. They protect your body from the harmful elements that you might get with other foods, drinks and from the environment. Make a list of your favorite foods that are packed with antioxidants and eat them on a regular basis!
2. Adequate Amounts of Protein
Protein is what our muscles need to be strong. Besides fiber, minerals and vitamins you need plenty of protein as well. Opt for lean protein such as chicken and turkey. To make your menu more varied, try and add some seafood. Fish is delicious and there are lots of species that taste divine. Also, we recommend low-fat cheese, eggs, plain yogurt, kefir and, if you are lactose tolerant, natural milk. The recommended amount of protein for women is 46-48 grams per day. For men the amount is 56-58 grams of protein each day.
