The best way to keep in shape is to exercise on a regular basis. However, not all of us have a strong will power. Luckily, there are a few moves you can learn and practice to get ready for a special event.
1. While standing, move one of your legs a couple of inches behind the opposite leg and raise your heel. At this moment the ball of the foot should be carrying your weight. Hold weights in your hands. Start lowering the upper body. Keep your arms stretched down. Let the weights touch the floor. Stand up by raising the upper body back up. Take a deep breath and repeat the move with the other leg back.
2. Find a step to sit on. Stretch your left leg out. While sitting, try to stand on your right leg with your left leg lifted. Squat. Remember to keep your left leg stretched. Repeat the move with the other leg.
