6 Items That Should Not Be Placed into the Microwave

Be careful with what kind of things you put into the microwave. If you do, you may easily cause a fire. The microwave oven is a device that can be found at homes and offices.

Despite its popularity, this equipment requires you to follow some certain rules. Here is a list of things we should not place into the microwave.

1. Lunch Bags

Lunch bags are not as innocent as they may seem. It’s important not to keep newspapers, plastic bags and paper bags inside the microwave. First, these items are not sanitary. Next, they may cause a fire. Finally, they usually emit toxic smoke when they burn. Be careful and keep them out of the device.

2. Eggs

Do not try to prepare hard-boiled eggs in the microwave. You will need a usual stove to do the task. The problem is that the microwave heats up very quickly. This creates too much steam in the egg and it explodes out. Not only will you waste the product, you will spend another hour to clean the microwave.
