1. Non-Starchy Vegetables
Look for non-green vegetables that do not contain starch. We know that starchy foods (vegetable included) can significantly increase the level of blood sugar since the glycemic index of such products is also high. Opt for red peppers, mushrooms, garlic onions and eggplant.

Diabetics suffer from heart disease since their blood vessels and arteries are not as strong as they should be. Eat various nuts and decrease the risk.
